Autumn is here to stay, I say

I don't have much to say lately. The economy is unimportant to me (in case you've tucked your head under a rock somewhere, Bush and the corporations got caught together in bed which means the financial system is in a crisis. The old white guy that's running for Prez is blaming the Democrats. The young black guy that's running for Prez is blaming deregulation), the debate last night was thoroughly boring (I fell asleep; the only interesting parts were when Brokaw got slightly irritated at Obama for running over time. Too bad he didn't get excited about something that mattered, like making the candidates actually answer questions instead of inserting memorized soundbites), and I've just been working so that means I'm tired all the time.

I can't help it that world news is boring so I guess I'll have to keep working my way through this Bible thing (I'm reading TBoTB and it is a joy-ride.) Leaves are changing colors and it is getting colder and getting darker earlier (that was a random note, but I am oh so excited about the rapidly arriving North Wind).

Now for the good weighty heavy stuff. The world is at war only we're not sure with who. It's the end of the world as we know it. I'll let my friend Jet explain since I'm too lazy to link to all the stuff out there. Are we all crazy or what?
