Some call it Winter
A chill--a sudden turn for the worse.
A white shower of dazzling bright and dreary wetness.
A frigid blast across the country.
Darkness is spreading...some call it winter.
Gone the green of exuberant creation.
Gone the struggle of growing things.
Winter has battled primavera for top
And won.
