No Sweat Apparel Faces Uncertain Days
Here's an excerpt from an email I got from No Sweat Apparel recently:
Dear supporters,
Our company has fallen on tough times. We survive by a thread, albeit an astonishingly sturdy one so far. We have some reason to believe that we have found a major funder at last so we can have the adequate resources we’ve always needed to thrive. That’s the good news. In the nearer term, we were just named finalists in ideablob’s March contest. If we win we get $20,000 (as cardholders) to grow our business. I’d like to ask each of you to go here....

log in and vote. It’s easy, takes 5 minutes, tops & the privacy/security is very good, so no spam. & if it’s not too much to ask, please share this as widely as possible. We’re down but we’re not out, not yet.
Thx for all.
In solidarity,
Adam
I'm asking you to take some time and vote for these guys. This is a great opportunity. And they have a great idea. Their clothing is top-notch, looks great, and lasts forever. So here's the great idea.
Take a great company co-founded by a Jew which sells union-made clothing, start a factory in Palestine and put a Christian in charge, and provide jobs for a Muslim union.
“All three religions have had a hand in creating this problem, and if the problem is to be solved, all three religions have to have a hand in solving it,” cofounder Nieman explains.
Dang, and you're gonna solve a problem by selling tee-shirts? Maybe. The environment is helped, jobs are created, violence could be cut by more jobs, and an inter-faith cooperation can't be a bad thing.
So buy a tee or two and help out.
